David Mysona, co-founder and CEO
David Mysona is the CEO and co-founder at Blackstone Technology Group. With more than 25 years of IT experience in technical solution sales and implementation, David works closely with the Blackstone leadership team to set strategy and foster a culture of innovation.Prior to founding Blackstone, David was a Senior Manager at Pricewaterhouse in their North American Energy Practice. In that role, he led the business development efforts for the energy practice related to the natural gas industry. Additionally David has held various managerial positions at Pacific Gas and Electric and Lockheed Missiles & Space.David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and Executive Education, Leading Professional Service Firms (LPSF) from Harvard Business School.
Casey Courneen, co-founder and President
Casey Courneen is the president and co-founder at Blackstone Technology Group. Casey focuses on internal operations, where he draws upon over two decades of experience in the consulting industry to ensure that Blackstone continues to be an efficient and profitable business. Additionally, Casey leads our global Staffing Services Practice, guaranteeing that our customers’ expectations are exceeded while he oversees the individual and team success of our recruiters and account managers. Casey’s rich history in leading teams and servicing Fortune 100 customers helps him address our customers’ unique hiring challenges, and ensures profitability and productivity for all parties. Casey began his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Management Consulting Services division, helping Fortune 100 telecom, energy, and financial services companies gain advantage over their competition with superior information systems. From there he moved to a start-up IT services firm where he concentrated on leading several client-server, object-oriented and distributed technology projects across a number of different vertical marketplaces. At Blackstone, he helped define the company’s overall engagement management methodology and he continues to focus his efforts on developing creative internal strategies used to hire and retain the best talent in the industry. Casey holds a B.S.E. in Finance and Legal Studies from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rakesh Agrawal, co-founder and EVP
Rakesh Agrawal is co-founder and Executive Vice President at Blackstone Technology Group. Rakesh leads the Energy practice and its development of Trellis™, a software platform for natural gas transaction management. As a veteran IT professional, Rakesh specializes in leading and delivering complex, multi-tier, mission-critical systems to Fortune 1000 companies in the Energy sector.Rakesh began his career as a Technology Consultant with Merrill Lynch, creating several internal portfolio management applications, tools, and utilities. From there he joined a smaller start up IT services firm as Senior Technical Architect and Project Manager, where he designed highly complex and flexible application architectures for large-scale system integration engagements.Rakesh holds an MBA from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in Material Science Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, India. He also holds numerous certificates in information systems integration and management
Donald Page, Executive Director, Federal Government
Don Page is the Executive Director of the Federal Government Practice at Blackstone Technology Group. Don, as a member of the Federal Practice Executive Leadership Team, is responsible for maintaining client, partner, and employee relationships, leading internal business operations, overseeing solution development and project delivery activities, and driving new areas of vertical growth for the Federal Practice.Don has 25 years of progressive experience as an IT professional and business leader, manager, and consultant, with substantial hands-on delivery experience in program and project management, team leadership, account development and practice management. Prior to joining Blackstone, Don led the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Division at Robbins-Gioia, where he managed up to $45M in annual revenue and was responsible for capturing and delivering management consulting solutions across the DHS. Don grew the DHS business unit by more than 200% in revenue and operating profit during his tenure there, and he led the development of an enterprise program management solution offering used in a number of multi-billion dollar programs. Don holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Golden Gate University in San Francisco and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Central Michigan University in Mt Pleasant.
Ken Hans, Executive Director, Financial Services
Ken Hans, Executive Director of Financial Services, is responsible for the strategy, business development and delivery of Blackstone’s services portfolio in the financial services vertical. Ken has helped clients with solutions that span across mobile applications, systems integration, business intelligence, CRM, regulatory compliance, business process re-engineering, and custom application development.Ken began his career at Accenture in their technology services practice, helping to design, build, and manage delivery of both ERP and custom software solutions for clients. From there Ken moved onto the industry-leading CRM software company Siebel Systems, where he assumed roles in both their pre-sales and sales divisions and garnered such awards as Customer Advocate of the Year, Beyond Expectations Platinum Award, and 100% Quota Attainment Club Winner.Ken holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Eric Swanson, Director of Staffing Services
Eric Swanson joined Blackstone Technology Group in September of 2004 and is the Director of the Staffing Services Practice. Eric offers over 19 years of sales and leadership in IT Staffing, and is responsible for the oversight, management, direction, and vision of the Staffing Services Business Development team nationally. In addition, Eric is responsible for the day to day operations and management of Blackstone’s Denver office. Prior to joining Blackstone, Eric was Vice President of Business Development for Techniki Informatica (a division of Network Staffing Services Inc.), an international IT Staffing firm. Eric helped them grow them from revenues of $7 million to $95 million in the 7 years that he was there, along with tripling the number of offices around the country. Earlier in his career Eric held several sales and management positions for both large publically traded IT Staffing firms as well as smaller boutique firms.Eric holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire, and is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC).
Clay Almy, Executive Director, Integration and JEE Services, Financial Services
Clay Almy joined Blackstone Technology Group in April of 2000 and currently leads Blackstone’s Integration and JEE services, which over the years have become the model for future domain and service offering growth. Clay’s current mission is to support and grow Blackstone’s business while holding true to his original goal of finding and building a focused and talented group of peers who are interested in solving complex business problems. Clay holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Williams College and is currently enrolled in Wharton School of Business Executive MBA Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
John Keast, Executive Director, Digital Services
John Keast, Executive Director, Digital Services, leads Blackstone Technology Group’s Digital Services Practice. With a wealth of experiences in digital marketing and omni-channel commerce, John helps clients gather deep insights from their digital analytics tools, optimize all digital channels, drive higher conversion rates, and decrease abandonment and attrition rates.Prior to Blackstone, John held an impressive succession of executive positions, such as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of PG&E Corporation, CIO of Filemaker (a subsidiary of Apple Computer), Chief Operating Officer of VEGAS.com, and Chief Architect of DHL Worldwide Express.
Patrick James, Director Of Operations and Professional Development
Patrick James, Director of Operations and Professional Development at Blackstone Technology Group, is responsible for leading the professional experience of our practice staff and internal corporate operating infrastructure.Patrick brings a wealth of professional services experience. He spent 10 years with Deloitte, consulting on financial and retail system implementations, business strategy and operations projects, and establishing Project Management Offices. He also worked for 9 years advising startup companies on building the infrastructure to deploy professional and managed services within their companies.Patrick is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of New Mexico and a M.B.A. from Saint Mary’s College.
