Blackstone Technology Group Awarded TABSS Contract with Department of Homeland Security

Arlington, VA – June 26, 2012 – Blackstone Technology Group was selected by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a member of the BayFirst Team under the DHS-wide Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Contract referred to as “TABSS” (Technical Acquisition and Business Support Services).  The TABSS contract has an $11 Billion combined (all TABSS awardees) maximum ceiling over the next five years and was issued by the United States Coast Guard for use across all DHS component organizations.  The BayFirst Team received an award within the 8(a) Track of Domain 1, which focuses on providing Program Management, Engineering and Technology Support Services.

The TABSS contract will provide DHS customers with the services needed to assist with the cross-organizational mission of protecting our homeland, deterring crime, detecting and countering terrorism, and the myriad of other critical responsibilities.  The BayFirst Team has deep collective roots across DHS, an extensive portfolio of experience and capabilities, the ability to provide and retain the highly qualified professionals necessary for superior support, and now stands ready through TABSS to help DHS meet the broad range of challenges and support decisions inherent in DHS acquisitions.
